Event Description:

Grant Writing: Successful Strategies for Securing Funding for your Nonprofit

Nov 01, 2016 09:00am

What is this workshop about?
Writing a grant? There’s much more to a successful application than simply copying language from your last grant application and hoping it will get funded as you hit “submit” online (... but we’ve all done it that anyway!).

Come join us and meet Christy M.P. Gilmour, who will lead us through best practices that every organization should utilize when assembling a grants strategy. Specifically, the workshop will cover topics including:
  • A “holistic” approach to grant writing,

  • What to know “before” you apply,

  • Utilizing your Board members in the process

  • and much more!
We hope you can join us for this exciting program.

Who should attend this workshop?
Aspiring, new-and even experienced-nonprofit professionals hoping to boost their ability to land grant funding.

Workshop Date: Tuesday, November 1

Registration Deadline: Wednesday, October 26th

Location: The Gale Center, 2601 Elm Street, Hernando, MS

Cost: $40 per person
