With the Labor Board’s decision in the Stericyle case, the HR world has changed regarding workplace policies and rules. The National Labor Relations Board just abolished the rules under which non-union employers, for the last 6 years, have measured their workplace and handbook rules. The new standard returns to an earlier tougher standard that will be more burdensome for employers, especially since, unlike in previous years, this new standard will be heavily enforced.
